HSR Filings Skyrocket!
Recently, the FTC and DOJ released a joint report that found that the number of merger filings jumped sharply during fiscal year 2010. Specifically, the agencies said they reviewed 1166 transactions under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, an increase of 63% over ’09.
