Jill R. GoodmanMs. Goodman is a Managing Director in the Banking Group at Lazard focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. She has a particular focus on complex M&A transactions involving conflicts of interest at the board level. She has acted as advisor to numerous special committees and independent committees of boards of directors, as well as to controlling shareholders, including at Weight Watchers International, VHA Inc., University HealthSystem Consortium, AMC Entertainment, National Golf Properties, Coinmach Laundry Corporation and Knoll, Inc. Prior to joining Lazard, she worked as an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions and securities law, and as a corporate finance analyst at Bear Stearns. Ms. Goodman received a J.D. with Honors from the Law School at the University of Chicago. Ms. Goodman graduated magna cum laude from Rice University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
