John R. Bakht John R. Bakht is the General Counsel of Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids, a division of Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE: BHI), an upstream oil and gas services company with annual revenues of approximately $8 billion. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing all legal matters relative to the division. Previously, Mr. Bakht was the enterprise M&A lawyer for Baker Hughes Incorporated, where he advised the corporation and its divisions on numerous acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, investments, and related matters. Mr. Bakht is Chair-Elect of the Mergers & Acquisitions Section of the Houston Bar Association, and is active in the Negotiated Acquisitions committee of the American Bar Association, where he is Vice-Chair of the Membership Committee. He has been elected a Texas SuperLawyer by Texas Monthly Magazine for his involvement in mergers and acquisitions. |
